Tamil: அன்பு என்பது வெறும் வார்த்தை அல்ல, அது ஒரு செயல். நமக்கு நாமே எந்த அளவிற்கு நல்லவைகளை விரும்புகிறோமோ, அதே அளவிற்கான நன்மையை மற்றவர்களுக்கும் விரும்புவதே உண்மையான அன்பு. இயேசு கிறிஸ்து சிலுவையில் தியாகத்தின் மூலம் நமக்குக் காண்பித்த அன்பை, நாமும் நம்முடைய குடும்பத்தினர், நண்பர்கள் மற்றும் அயலாரிடம் காட்ட அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். இன்று உங்கள் வார்த்தைகளாலும் செயல்களாலும் தேவ அன்பை வெளிப்படுத்துங்கள்.

"கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ புதுப்பெலனடைந்து, கழுகுகளைப்போலச் செட்டைகளை அடித்து எழும்புவார்கள்; அவர்கள் ஓடினாலும் களைப்படையார்கள், நடந்தாலும் சோர்ந்துபோகார்கள்." — ஏசாயா 40:31

English:

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." — Isaiah 40:31

Devotional Reflection: The Power of Waiting

Waiting is rarely easy. In a world that demands instant results, waiting on God can sometimes feel like lost time. However, the Bible promises that waiting on the Lord is never in vain. It is actually a period of spiritual recharging.

What does it mean to "wait upon the Lord"?

• It means placing your absolute trust in His timing.

• It means surrendering your worries and expecting His goodness.

• It means remaining faithful even when you cannot see the next step.

When you wait on Him, God does not just give you ordinary energy; He gives you "renewed strength" (புதுப்பெலன்). Like an eagle that utilizes storm winds to glide higher without effort, God will lift you above your challenges. You will run your race without growing weary.

இன்றைய தியானம்: காத்திருப்பதன் வல்லமை

காத்திருப்பது என்பது மனித இயல்புக்கு எளிதான ஒன்றல்ல. ஆனால், கர்த்தருக்காகக் காத்திருப்பது வீணாகப் போகாது என்று வேதம் நமக்கு வாக்குறுதி அளிக்கிறது.

"கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருப்பது" என்றால் என்ன?

• அவருடைய காலநேரத்தின் மேல் முழு நம்பிக்கை வைப்பது.

• நம் கவலைகளை அவரிடம் ஒப்புவித்து, அவருடைய நன்மைக்காகக் காத்திருப்பது.

நாம் கர்த்தரை நோக்கி அமர்ந்திருக்கும்போது, அவர் நமக்கு "புதுப்பெலன்" தருகிறார். கழுகு எப்படி புயல் காற்றையே தனக்கு சாதகமாக்கி, தன் சிறகுகளை அடித்து உயரே எழும்புகிறதோ, அதேபோல தேவன் உங்களை உங்கள் சூழ்நிலைகளுக்கு மேலாக உயர்த்துவார். நீங்கள் சோர்ந்துபோகாமல் ஓடவும், நடக்கவும் அவர் கிருபை செய்வார்.
